Ready to get started?

So, you’ve got an idea in mind and you’re ready to take the next steps. Good news – it’s really simple to get started!

  1. If it’s a specific location you have in mind, bring together a few pictures or screenshots of Google/Apple/OS Maps or grid references so that I know exactly where you want mapped. If you’re commemorating an event instead, such as the Lake District Mighty Hike for example, an indication of the route can be useful. Of course, if it’s a surprise gift, you won’t want to be asking too many pointed questions to the recipient. Don’t worry, we can always work something out!
  2. Next step: drop me an email (hello@penrithstationers.co.uk) with your reference materials and a description of the area which you’d like to see on the map. If you have a deadline by which you need your map, please include this information too and I’ll do my best to meet this. For reference, custom maps take around 2-3 weeks at the earliest – do keep this in mind when getting in touch.
  3. Once a map area has been agreed, a 50% deposit is required to start any map work. The remainder is due once a digital proof is approved and must be paid before delivery.
